Job Prospects For Dental Assistants...

Job prospects for dental assistants are generally very good. Our experiences have shown that employment has been growing at quite a fast rate. Also, the proportion of workers leaving the occupation and who must be replaced is above average. Many opportunities are for entry-level positions offering on-the-job training. In our experience, as a SmileCare Graduate you will be one step ahead of these untrained individuals and you will have a better chance of getting that vital break into the profession.

Population growth and greater retention of natural teeth by middle-aged and older people will fuel demand for dental services. Older dentists, who are less likely to employ assistants, will leave and be replaced by recent graduates, who are more likely to use one, or even two dental assistants. In addition, as dentists’ workloads increase, they are expected to hire more assistants to perform certain tasks, so they may devote their own time to more complex procedures.

Numerous job openings for dental assistants will arise from the need to replace assistants who leave the occupation due to taking on family responsibilities.

As you can see, job prospects for dental assistants are high, and with the training you will have received as a SmileCare Graduate you should have no problems finding a well-paid position.

In fact, we know this from experience. Over 90% of our graduates have found work within just a few weeks of completing our course.

Considering we have trained over 200 students, that's a pretty exciting result with great opportunities for you as a new graduate!
